John Holt and his wife Kathe live in the Greater Pittsburgh, PA area. He is semi-retired after serving four congregations in both urban and suburban contexts for 45 years. In the past seven years he has served seven congregations as an Interim Pastor.  He is a teacher of the Bible, a Certified Life Coach with AG Coaching, and enjoys mentoring and developing young leaders. John’s ministry has taken him to many of the nations of the world. His writing brings life application of biblical truth along with cultural insights that help equip one for living out their faith amidst the tensions of daily life. He is a graduate of the University of Valley Forge with a BA in Bible, and an MA in Christian Leadership. He and his wife have been married for 56 years and have three children, nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, plus two on the way.
